DIY Athlete College Care Package with FREE Printable Tag

DIY Athlete College Care Package with FREE Printable Tag

My oldest nephew is heading off to college in the next few weeks for the first time. Every time I start to think about it, I get a little choked up. I can’t imagine what my sister and brother-in-law are going through right now. I know my nephew is not only going to have a blast in college, but I really do believe that this is the beginning of his amazing adult (gulp, sniffle, sniffle) life.

To send him off for his early soccer conditioning, I thought I would make him a DIY Athlete College Care Package. Hopefully with everything in this package, he will survive those first two weeks of conditioning before school actually starts.

A great addition to any college care package is this fun book by Becky Blades called Do Your Laundry or Die Alone: Advice Your Mom Would Give if She Thought You Were Listening.

In Do Your Laundry Or You’ll Die Alone: Advice Your Mom Would Give if She Thought You Were Listening Blades speaks for the mother in all of us. With warmth, wit, and a hint of motherly sass, Blades blends bite-sized morsels of coming-of-age common sense such as “Keep at least one stuffed animal,” with tiny essays on topics like forgiveness and phone etiquette. All beautifully illustrated with her celebrated mixed-media art.

A perfect addition to any college care package! You can check-out Becky’s book here: LaundryOrDie.com.
