If you have a student in college, then right about now they are feeling stressed and probably overwhelmed. They are well into their first semester and the honeymoon of starting college is wearing off. Thanksgiving break is still a month away, so why not send them some comfy hugs from home to get them by!

My oldest son’s girlfriend is going to college in cold, South Dakota. I wanted to send her a care package that made her feel cozy and warm and let her know that we miss her. Add whatever you think your student would love to your care package along with the cute printable. Your student will feel loved and ready to tackle the rest of the semester…at least until finals! Enjoy!!

What you will need:

• Mailing box or cute container to hold all your products
• DIY Comfy Hugs College Care Package Printable (see below)
• Tissue paper
• Mailing tape

Items I used:

• Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Comfort Body Wash & Lotion
• Simply Balanced instant oatmeal (microwavable)
• Campbell’s chicken noodle soup (microwavable)
• To-Go coffee mug
• Justin’s hazelnut butter and pretzels snacks
• Burt’s Bees lip balm
• Homemade soap (I bought from my hair stylist, she makes great soaps)

• Hot chocolate
• Coffee
• Tea
• Throat lozenges
• Fuzzy socks
• Gloves or mittens
• Scarf
• Stocking hat
• Gift cards to restaurants they love
• Family picture
• Picture of the family pet

Instructions:

1. Since I was mailing this care package and not hand delivering it, I did not use a cute container, but just the mailing box. Feel free to hunt down a cute basket or fun container to place everything in if you would like. To jazz up my plain-old box, I laid tissue down first.

2. Next, place all your cozy inspired products into your container.

4. Print on card stock or fun paper.

5. Write a sweet note to your student.

6. Mail with love or hand deliver with a hug. It will make your students semester!!
