Macaroni and Cheese, Mac & Cheese, Golden Gooey Goodness from Heaven…whatever you call it, my kids LURV it!!

My youngest takes his lunch to school everyday. He gets tired of sandwiches, especially if the lunch meat is “too wet,” so mac & cheese is a good substitute. We used to make the instant mac & cheese you bought from the store, which tastes great, but come to find out, it is filled with chemicals and preservatives.

BUT NEVER FEAR, I’m here with a super easy and yummy HOMEMADE Mac & Cheese in a Mug recipe!! It literally takes the same amount of time to make as the instant stuff, but is made with wholesome ingredients you have at home. Whip it up in the morning, plop it in a thermos and make your kid envied by all at the school lunch table. In fact, this recipe is so easy that my 12-year-old makes it himself for a snack.
