  2. Add unopened yeast packet on top before screwing on cap.

5. Pumpkin Pudding Cake Mix in a Jar

Instructions:

  1. Pour spice cake mix into your 1 quart mason jar. Pat jar down on counter to get the mix to settle to make room for vanilla mix. 
  2. Pour vanilla pudding cake mix as next layer into 1 quart mason jar. Keep patting  jar down to get mixes to settle so you can pour more in. You will have some leftover (about a 1/4) or vanilla mix that won’t fit. That is okay. Just fit what you can.

A Few Helpful Tips

1. Cut the bottom off of a plastic cup and use as a funnel.

2. Poor ingredients through funnel into jar. You could use a 1/4 cup dry measuring cup or spoon to help add ingredients to your jars.

3. I used a small gravy ladle to pat down the ingredients in between layers. You could also use the end of a wooden spoon or something similar to level and tap down each layer before adding the next one.
